Mapes >> The St. Louis Chapter undertook a project of rebuilding a Baldwin F, (7') for a concert hall. Baldwin is donating the action parts, I donated the pin block, another chapter member donated the bass strings. Several technicians have come to my shop on a more or less regular basis over the last year to work on the piano. When it is done, it will be in the recital hall of a small concert hall. Our name will be attached to the piano. It's a large job, and it is taking a long time to complete it. But we feel it will give us some publicity, and worth it in the long run.
