I just want to comment on this subject.  I get many sluggish actions with
this similar problem.  I know it is work, but If you hold down the pedal,
hit the not, and the hammer returns, wippen returns, but the jack skips out
from the butt, it is sluggish jacks.  If you depress the soft pedal, and let
up, and see hammers lag, usually sluggish hammers, if you have the problems
you described above, usually tight key bushings, or wippen centers.  I use
the zapper, that was made by Francis Mahaffey, zap each action part in
question, install climate control system, and no further problems.  I had
Wurlitzers, Baldwins, where nothing returned, did the above, and never had
call backs.  Lynn
