introducing myself

         Hi Guys and Gals,

I just joined this list today and already it looks very interesting.  Just 
briefly, I have been a piano technician since 1947. I was a member of the 
Los Angeles chapter of the PTG for some 35 years. That was back in the days 
of Vic Jackson and Cecil Short and a lot of great technicians.  I also had 
a store and sold Yamaha pianos along with various others.  I sold the store 
and retired from active piano tuning in `1982 but have been keeping my hand 
in it since then.  I was just wondering if there might  be some technicians 
that I used to know on this list.  I'll be monitoring the list and 
contributing whenever I can.
