I have seen several posts in reply to my message I posted subject: large uprights, including the message in which someone says he doesn't see any rational excuse for building spinets. I was thinking -- if I was building upright pianos, they would probably not come shorter than 48" (but then I might have a 42" model for people who wanted to be able to see over the top of the piano. I would probably consider making 48", 51", 54", 57", and 60" sizes. Possibly I might consider a 64" or 66" upright, and I had thought of maybe a 72 or 75" piano (78" being the limit to get it through a doorway), but it would kinda look weird to have a piano that tall. _________________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
