Hi Arthur,
If I understand correctly, you would need to order an upright damper rod
hinge APSCO part # 24448A (7/8" wide) or #24448B (3/8" wide). Order a dozen
of the B part numbers. Sooner or later you will run into a Pratt Read action
which has broken synthetic hinges and you will want to replace with these
metal ones.

Subject: Mason & Hamlin damper lift rod

Pianotech,
I have a customer who has a Mason & Hamlin console made in 1947. It has
a damper lift rod part which is broken. It is the part which the
hangers on the rod go into which has a felt bushing. This part has a
slot which is adjustable and can tear out. I was wondering if anyone
has seen this before and if a suitable replacement part is available, if
not,is there something I could use in its place?
Any solutions or ideas on how I can make this repair would be
appreciated.

Thanks,

Arthur Chickering
