Dont know about damage or such... but I understand the Concert Pitch in Vienna is
444, and you cant tell them anything else. To them 440 is old hat. Otherwise 442
in Europe seems to be the most usual. Only in America do you find so much
resistance to fooling around with 440 it appears. Personally... I wish they all
could decide and be done with it... pain in the butt really...
