Schaff buys American Piano Supply - History

Hi

I emailed the guy who has took over APSO and he was unclear on the 
history of the company, well his response was  I'm unsure phone me ! but 
he did not give me a phone number nor has he replied to my follow-up 
email.

So... do any of you know when APSO was founded and where also when 
Schaff  was founded and where.
