Hi List. I attended the All-Day Renner Action class in KC. They presented some action geometry diagnostic calculations that utilized "Key In, Key Out, Wippen In, Wippen Out, Hammer In, Hammer Out" measurements. I have my spreadsheet with all the formulas, but I cann't find my class notes that have the definitions of exactly where to physically measure for the six parameters. Does anyone have that info? Also, I downloaded Nick Gravagne's action geometry program from the web yesterday. It quite clearly appears to be the exact same formulas that the Renner approach uses. Am I right? I thick that the knuckle-to-hammer center measurement may be different though. Nick's program is very user friendly. Terry Farrell Piano Tuning & Service Tampa, Florida mfarrel2@tampabay.rr.com
