Just where and how small is the crack?

Your biggest concern should be whether or not you will like the piano when 
the job is finished.
If the action is heavy don't plan on it becoming lighter "...with wear".
Have it voiced to your liking before you put a deposit on it.

A ten year guarantee is a long time, as long as some man'f'r's but it is
only as good as the person behind it.

I sold a S&S A many years back with so many cracks it looked like a 
venitian blind but the sound
out of it drew pianists to it.
