Different question about heater bars

Hi Terry,

It is in the archives, but I use ordinary vapour barrier (6 mil) from the
hardware store with duct tape *squares* I then staple thru the squares and
the plastic. The duct tape is meant to keep the staples from pulling thru
the plastic. I have also used clear 12 mil for installations that need to
*look* nice.

The DC unit is installed in the normal manner inside the kick plate. I use
a 50 watt rod and smart bar.

The only thing I hear is a piano that sounds better, i.e. more like one
that has been freshly tuned. No buzzes. I have not made any measurements on
sound output--but I have "thundred" on a few pianos and find them very
adequate as far as volume goes. I suspect that a freshly tuned piano has a
slightly greater tonal output than one that is flat.
