Protection from CA fumes

I've had several OSHA 40-hr. health & safety classes and it would seem to me
that a full face respirator with a good activated charcoal filter would
satisfy any need. Ya do need to check the filters every once in a while
though for any bleed through and make sure you have a very good fit. (Just
go into a smoky/smelly atmosphere and see it you smell it - or stick your
nose over a can of laquer thinner - realizing of course that your test may
use up your filter pretty fast - they do have products especially to test
for fit and break-through - a banana smell thing.) The one thing I like
about a half face is that the more comfortable a respirator is, the more you
will use it. Although eye protection for CA is a good thing to do. I made a
trip to the emergency room for a scratched cornea many years back when I was
CAing a TV dial (yea, remember when a TV had a round plastic dial numbered 1
thru 12?). I pryed a crack apart, put in CA (crazy glue) and the thing
shapped back together, glue drying into a little sharp shard on its way to
my eye! Ouch! :-(

(I like happy/sad faces) ;-)
