I also started out with the Randy Potter School. Living in a rather remote location, with no one to mentor with, I devoured the course, at the same time as attending as many seminars, conventions etc. as I could. ( My local Guild meetings were about a hundred miles away, and I never missed 'em.) A couple years later, I challenged the exams and became an R.P.T. on the first try. For anyone starting out, I highly recommend Randy's course, it worked for me. And by the way, I'm still learning, and feel like there's a long way to go. -----Original Message----- From: Terry L Jack <tjack@pacinfo.com> To: pianotech@ptg.org <pianotech@ptg.org> Date: Saturday, October 21, 2000 10:57 PM Subject: Re: Piano Technician Correspondence Schools >I took the Randy Potter course and am very satisfied with it.
