Hello Stan,

Just a few words about your piano, since I also have an old Boesendorfer:
The number 4503 is almost certainly not the serial number, but another
work-number (they call it "Arbeitsnummer" in German) used at the factory.
This means your manufacuring date is wrong.
I assume 4503 is written on the pinblock, next to the tuning pins. Look for
the real serial number on the soundboard, behind the dampers (it's hard to
spot at the first glance).

Or just send an e-mail to Boesendorfer in Vienna, they are really helpful.
