virus

As others have said, you may not have become infected if you didn't open
the attachment, but who knows? Get either Norton or Mcafee right away,
install it, and run a complete scan on every hard drive in your system.

It would also be a good idea to scan any floppies, zip disks etc. that you
may have accessed since the virus came in.

Finally, although I'm not certain, it would probably be best not to turn
off and re-boot your computer until you've got the anti-virus software
installed, run, and your system has a clean bill of health if at all
possible.
This is just in case the virus is of a boot sector type.

Good Luck.
