Doug, Paul I used a similar technique until I bought a steamer-that one they exhibited at Kansas City. It was a chunk of money but it has paid for itself. CA and epoxy glued felts (if you can believe) so far are the only ones that are troublesome. Works great for backcheck felts and catcher leather. Many other uses. Just my 2 cents.
