Thanks to Don Rose, et all, for suggesting a good product that is easy to
use and configure (ZoneAlarm). Those of us with 'just a 56k connection'
should be as protected as the Cable and DSL people.

Since installing ZoneAlarm, I have been alerted to many attempts to access
my computer. That's a pretty frightening thought considering I have my
checking accounts on the computer. I ain't Midas, but I sure couldn't afford
to be wiped clean either.

Also, before installing ZoneAlarm, I ran the "Test My Shields" and "Probe My
Ports". While I tested ok, I decided to try out the free shareware program.
I am running the Test and Probe again, and with minimal computer knowledge
and a little common sense, I am in Stealth mode. That's a good thing for
those of you that don't know.

..and I thought having my own domain would get rid of the junk
mail...HA!..how wrong I was..my junk mail has been real active lately. I am
looking forward to junk mail being greatly decreased as of today..and I feel
alot better about my check books.

Is there better protection with the "Pro" version?

I have seen the light (yet again),
Rook
