Formaldehyde glue/2

I'm not sure what was suggested earlier because I didn't keep up with the 
posts, but if the glue is a phenol aldehyde combination, you might be able 
to reverse the chemical reaction to break down the chemicals with acetic 
acid solution.  I'll bet vinegar is too weak.  If you have access to dilute 
hydrochloric acid, that might work faster.  Heat will speed up the 
process.  I've never tried it before, but that's the first I'd try.
