Hey, thanks for the response Del. No I am not sure it is spruce (if I had to
guess, I would say that it is not spruce), I am ashamed to admit. My
Bachelor's degree is in Forestry and I had a couple classes on wood
technology - wish I could find my old textbook on the subject. Can you
recommend a text that is useful but also includes all aspects of technical
characteristics of common wood species?
