Hi Gang, I've got another one of those annoying and mysterious little observations with a dumb question attached. One of my colleges has five 44" Gulbransen verticals all purchased at the same time, with serial numbers grouped around 407220. On all these pianos, right smack in the middle of the copper wound bass bichords is one unison of steel wound bichords. It's at F#-2. Why? Ron N
