Cyanoacryllate glue was developed by Kodak Eastman for microsurgery on blood
vessels.  Perhaps that is why it sticks so well to your fingers.  Boxers use
it in the ring for a quick fix on facial cuts, medics used it in Vietnam,
and I have a dentist as a client who swears by it.  He worries about the
little nicks & cuts he gets on his hands and the infections he contracts by
having to put his hands in peoples mouths all the time.  He says it's the
only things that stays sealed well enough.
