Interesting enough, a search of the net just now yeilded many results on
entering "Whippen" while the word "Wippen" yeilded only some stuff in
german. Notably a site for Langer actions pops up on the "Whippen" side of
the fence... A search of online Websters 1913 dictionary gives the same
definition for both spellings

Now for my part.... I have always spelled it whith an "h", and 'ave
absolutely no intention of altering my present spelling. So there so !
