Same. The U1 is 48 inches tall. The U3 is 52 inches. I looked at the Yamaha web site and the only difference indicated between the U3 and the U5 is that the middle peddle on the U3 operates a mute and the same peddle on the U5 is for a sostenuto. It does not even address the UX3. Does anyone know if there is any difference between the U3 and U5 besides the sostenuto?
