Well since it was a "Jazz Consert" I doubt that there would be much difference between the noise and the music anyway so it is probably just as well. If they brought in a drummer while all this was going on it would have been perfect!! I had a similar experience many years ago at a church that was under construction. They were in a rush to complete the building for their first service in two days and when I arrived there was a guy out side with a jack hammer, someone inside drilling holes in concrete, a crew unloading and moving pews into the building, and pounding everywhere!
