WHWGA (Well, here we go again)

The term "Associate" being used in a not so complimentary manner.

I are an associate and if I've been mollycoddled lately, you coulda fooled
me!
Should associates and non-members be lumped together like that?

I'm glad you qualified that as those who want things given to them.

My experience says that most (not all) associates are independent
conservative individuals who can and do look after themselves, don't demand
favors (as if they could) but still support the guild faithfully and yet get
very little recognition.

As they say in Hawaiian pigeon English.  I no hu-hu.  (I'm not mad).

I've met you, took some of your classes and you're okay in spite of what the
other guys say about you.

You DOOOOO know I'm pulling you chain don't you?
