Get a real good technician who understands friction, balance weights, key ratios and other such esoteria of piano stuffies. Doing whatever to '66 S&S hammers is like touching up paint scrapes on a wall that needs a new paint job. Everything you do will stand out like a sore thumb. Do it right and do it well. Newton
