List, The "OT" designation in the subject line is nice. Thanks to all those who do it. There are two other things that help manage the amount of mail from the list. First, directing Pianotech messages into their own folder, and, second, categorizing the messages by subject title, saves a large amount of time, both in reading and deleting. For instance, I use Outlook 98, and it has the option to group messages by "Conversation Topic." So, all the messages are "pre-sorted" and come into their own tiny "subfolder" or "topic" within my Pianotech folder. If there is an "OT" discussion, or I don't like the topic heading, then I will delete all those messages at once without reading them. Saves a bunch of time. I forget which lister suggested doing this some time ago, but it really is great! Thanks! It was (more or less) generally decided that if someone will include "off topic" or "OT" in the subject line, then those who wish to deviate from piano technology from time to time could do so and the rest can immediately delete and not mind too much because they've been forewarned. That still seems like a good idea to me.
