Knabe Damper Wire

I am servicing a 1870 Knabe Concert Grand.  Some of the damper wires look
pretty chewed up. I was about to replace them and noticed that the damper
heads were smaller than normal and the wires were a finer gauge.

    Do any of you have an idea of this gauge wire and where I can get it.  I
don't think that it is sold in the supply houses.  Any of you purchase this
wire and could recommend a source?
