Hi Don, Terry and all, Don, the statement below is correct. Where I have my nightmares is what happens if the humidistat doesn't work ?. I have seen what 25W of heat does to a piano, what would 50W do if the humidistat malfunctioned. ? Who is responsible for replacing the piano. ? Darwin has a funny power supply, lightning strikes, power surges, blackouts, etc. What are the risks involved. I think that you can understand my concerns, I don't want to fit anything to a piano that could possibly cause the piano harm. What I would like to see is a fail safe device fitted to the humidistat to overcome that problem.
