John,
The 300ma unit from RS will be strained by the SAT battery and it might =
take longer for it to charge, Radio Shak has also a 1Amp (1A or 1000ma) =
model which will suit you better for this purpose

Hi Wim,
My charger for my SATlll says 900mA, for the output, so it will be OK.
The service manual, makes no mention of the capacity of the charger. =
In the SAT manual, it used to mention a Radio Shack replacement, it is =
only 300mA and runs hot when I use it on my SATlll. It is a spare I =
carry with me if I have forgotten to charge.

I am throwing away, or selling in yard sale all unnecessary items in =
anticipation of my move.=20
I found a recharger, which fits my SATIII, but I don't know if it =
the right=20
power. The input is 120 v, 60 Hz 20 w. The output is DC 9 v 900 mA. =
Is this=20
the right size for my SATIII, or will that burn it up?=20
