Frank, I am currently rebuilding a 1914 Stieff upright for myself and
happened upon a cracked action bracket. It was a clean break, so I took it to
a local welder who repaired it beautifully for 30 dollars. I would be sure it
was someone who had been in business long enough to know what they were
