This is a multi-part message in MIME format. ---------------------- multipart/alternative attachment Charles, I'm afraid I don't qualify as an expert, but for what it's worth I = recently did two plates using sandblasting. I touched up the rough spots = with body putty, used liberal coats of red metal primer followed up with = my gray undercoats and then final bronzing powder/lacquer finish. Works = for me. Has anyone had any experience with sandblasting piano plates in preparation for finishing? I'm tired of dealing with contamination on = old plate finishes and thought this might offer a solution. Thanks in advance. Charles Faulk ________________________________________________________________ GET INTERNET ACCESS FROM JUNO! Juno offers FREE or PREMIUM Internet access for less! Join Juno today!
