Yes the same goes for F# to D and A also F to C# and G# the sixth is
slower than the 3rd When you finished the scale the sixths should go
faster up the scale there are only 3 in the scale. However, When you
tune the F# octave in the Bass F# to D# is a test I use. When I am
tuning down the bass on my confirmation test of the octave I follow with
the sixth. The sixths are easier to hear further down the base than
3rds. I use 4th and 5ths and minor 3rds and sixes if the bass note is
very false to check the octave.
