Just bought and received my antique rosewood Hale tuning hammer, circa 1906, and it's quite nice. I'm wondering, though, since the finish is pretty worn out on the collar, if it could be re-finished, or even replaced. Does anyone know if APSCO or whoever sells replacement collars for this old of a hammer? I can wait to call them on Monday if nobody knows. The threads look to be the same size as my modern Hale.
