Plastic Lakk

Guys and gals... gotta thank you all for the great advice and info
you all provided on this. I called the lady tonite and she will get
back to me as soon as she has confered with the transport company.
Shes gonna ask about how well packed in it was... But I think we are
looking at like extreme cold for several hour in the back of a
trailer truck, and rather poorly packed in. Maybe a blanket to
protect against the straps... or something like that.

I dont think the lakk is going to be fixed...Actually the piano still
looks as a whole quite nice... at least for now. She is most
interested in getting the insurance (justifiably so me thinks) to
cover the lost value of her piano. The piano seems to have suffered
no real critical structual damage.

There is no-one in Bergen at present (in the piano buisness) that can
or will do the repair. And I dont think she's gonna bother to hunt
down a reliable furniture man. Tis not like the states where you
often find the kind of person who will tell you.... "if I cant do it
myself... I know who can". .....
