Stephen: I have used cold hide glue for years for a variety of things, including, at one time, soundboard installation, with nary a failure or hint of non-set. Perhaps you are referring to old batches, or poorly controlled shelf lives? Tell me more, though, because this is the first I've ever heard anyone criticize it. PR-J
