Pin blocks

Hi John,

Two other possible causes could be that there is a large gap between plate
flange and block and that the web screws around the tuning pins are not
tight enough to pull the block up tight against the plate webbing.

I have cut and installed wedges between the block and plate and used a jack
to put pressure on the block then used a big screwdriver and leverage to
tighten the webbing screws. THe wedges have been especially effective.

A perfect example for a need for a snug plate block fit.
