high treble ringing

List,

The pianist giving a recital here tomorrow evening has a problem with one
note ringing in the treble. He says that the G5 damper rings after release
but I tracked it down to a sympathetic vibration at G6. G6 is the first
string without a damper (Bosendorfer 275) and it does ring more noticeably
than it's neighbors. I checked string seating on the bridge and even
monkeyed with the tuning but got no noticeable change.

Since this is the speaking length ringing and since that's what it's
supposed to do, is there anything else I can do that may decrease this or
do I tell him to get over it? Any suggestions?
