Roy,

First make sure some mover didn't put the leg bolts/screws in wrong.
Sometimes one of these rocket scientists puts a long screw from leg 3 in
leg 1 or 2 and it threads into the key frame.

I am not familiar with the bolt and nut thing you mentioned.  Is it tight
in the key bed or does it wiggle a little?  If it is wiggling, I think you
will find either the leg screw thing or it is catching on something else.
(shift rod, lyre screw through the bed, etc.)
