perfect pitch in animals - getting well off-topic

I have an African Grey parrot, one of the best talkers.     At the end
of the messages there's a two-tone beep, which he can hit dead-on
pitch.  He knows when the beep tones will appear from the machine, and
will make them himself in anticipation.  He also makes up his own
messages, and puts the proper beep-tones at the end.  I never cease to
be amazed at what he can do.
