Damper guide easing

List,
We get a lot of tight damper guide rail bushings here, especially on new
pianos. We recently got a new D, opened the crate, stood it up, installed a
Dampp-Chaser, covered it, etc and it still got tight.
If an easing tool doesn't do it, I usually remover the dampers and iron the
holes with a bridge pin/brass rod tool I made, chucked into an easing iron
(with thermostat) that is used to ease keys (Pianotek). I've been thinking
of ways to ease these better than with a conventional easing tool, but short
of having to remove them and ironing them with a bridge pin.

Question: Has anyone tried easing them with a _heated_ damper guide rail
bushing tool? I was considering chucking that tool in the electric iron and
easing them with the dampers still in the piano. Thanks!
