Thanks Del. I found the one I think you were referring to. Looks nice. $479 - looks expensive. I know, I know - it pays to get good tools. I found a factory reconditioned Dewald 12-1/2" heavy duty that appears to have pretty much the same features (only with a manual lock-down somethingorother to eliminate snipe) and blades that can be sharpened for $279. I think I will be going that direction. I like the idea of blades that can be sharpened. I have learned enough that sharp tools make for good tools. And being as cheep as I can be, I would tend to use replaceable blades much longer than I should. With blades I can sharpen, I can do that more often - even if the time I spend doing it is not real efficient. It's a mind thing. And I'm still trying to find mine! ----- Original Message ----- From: "Delwin D Fandrich" <pianobuilders@olynet.com> To: <pianotech@ptg.org> Sent: Thursday, May 24, 2001 11:03 AM Subject: Re: Thickness Planer > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Farrell" <mfarrel2@tampabay.rr.com> > To: <pianotech@ptg.org> > Sent: May 24, 2001 7:23 AM > Subject: Re: Thickness Planer > > > > Hi Greg.
