mysterious sticking flanges

Hi Cal,
       This about the time frame when Yamaha was having some plating
problems with centre pins.  Remove a few and examine carefully under a
bright light with a magnifing glass.  If that is the problem, ream out the
bushing cloth several sizes, and repin.   Better yet replace the flanges.
