Your bridge pins are in a continuous (not the usual zig-zag) line. Therefore the speaking lengths of the bichord pairs is different and you need a greater length of cover on the bass side strings in order to get the copper line parallel to the agraffes. If you have supplied the stringmaker with measurements that would result in covers of equal length for the two strings, then you (or your colleague) have made an error.
