In the interim, you can check Brent Gillespie's model at <http://lims.mech.nwu.edu/~brent/thesis.html>. Doug Condit posted here in May about a machine for dynamic action analysis. Current laptops can collect data, chip at Van den Berghe's 4 minute speed record and fit the toolbox. Besides, I think I read somewhere that several manufacturers already use these computer things.
