Mason & Hamlin parts

Hi all,

Thought maybe I'd offer an update on the Mason &
Hamlin parts problem.

I was complaining about it to my wife earlier.
Never thought much about it at the time. Turns
out she gets on the phone calling people. I
don't know what she said, but she got through!
And not long after, I got a phone call from her
saying, "Call Tom at M&H!". I did. Actually got
past the secretary, too.

He thought they'd probably be able to help with
the music desk and the lid prop. (I'm supposed to
call back tomorrow.) No go on the hardware,
though. But that's ok. I can deal with that,
either replacing or replating.

So, not all is lost today. I only thought it was
fair to write about the current status since I
was a bit harsh earlier.

FWIW, the experience hasn't left me feeling like
there's much of a production happening at M&H.
Not having ever seen it, I wouldn't have any
perspective other than what I've seen at
conventions. I kind of felt sorry for them.

'Nuf said.

Thanks for the responses, though. I'll keep
them, just in case I need them in the future.

Brian T.
