Hammer weight/density

Above and beyond the weight / mass set, I am not sure how much we actually need
to know anything else. Ok.. it would be nice to know ahead of time how many tons
pressure it takes to push a number 7 needle into the hammer... but I mean one
gets to know different suppliers well enough. Natural elasticity.... sure but
how much more would it cost to get a number on this... and how important is it
to know this so specifically ahead of time anyways. Again... one gets to know
different suppliers.

But the weight / mass thingy... now thats very dooable. I can see no real reason
why this should be cumbersom to a manufacturer. Actually, the first one who does
so and at the same time makes voiceable hammers... will definantly sell a few
sets to me.

Seems like to me, that if hammers are "needleable", and one knows how much they
weigh... can even choose different basic weight characteristics.... well thats
ten steps ahead of todays situation.
