Mark, Just a thought or two. Are the action brackets square (vertically) with the rails? Has the piano been moved recently? And does anyone know if it's possible for the stack to parallelogram left if the piano is dropped on the skid? That is, dropped less than thirty feet? How far off are the knuckles compared to the hammers? If they're off a similar distance, just aligning the hammers to the strings with front/back shims won't center the knuckle. If everything but what's on the hammer rail is lined up where it belongs, how about moving the hammer rail over some? Ron N
