Hi Brian, If you spray CA glue with a mist of water it turns whitish. It also does not seem to cure "all the way" through. I believe the whole point of treating a pin block is to let it soak in -- deeper is better. In mid winter here I have used a tea kettle boiling in the room to add water vapor to speed cure time. As the reaction of CA is all ready (very) exothermic I don't think that more heat would be necessary (or even desireable).
