Hi Terry,
The reason that my times jumped back up was the learning process =
involved in learning how to use a new tool.
In learning to use it, I discovered a more efficient way to use the =
split mute both going up the scale and down than what I had been doing.
And that record was at piano # 49 and 50 the last three weeks.
I will try the new muting pattern with the SATlll soon to compare times =
and let you know.
The split mute is similar to what you are doing but in one tool.
. Truely amazed myself. Just a couple months ago I had not be able to =
regularly get a pitch raise and tuning to less than two hours - then all =
of a sudden vooosh! You are tuning much faster!

Maybe I'll try your split mute idea. I use two mutes and leapfrog =
across the scale, tuning unisons as I go. I realize it is likely the =
slowest way. It sounds like you are getting faster with your Verituner. =
I think you posted just recently and indicated that it was taking a lot =
longer (2 hours?) to tune with the Verituner.
