Greetings, I found the easiest way to remove the wires was a small claw hammer and a wedge with a slot cut into it. If the keys are old and brittle, or if you are really concerned about breaking them, you can cut the wedge to fit under the drill press table(stuck on with a spot of CA), which will provide a stop for the top of the key. Then you simply stick the backcheck wire up through this from below and grab it with the hammer. The hammer then rides on the top of the table, pulling the wire out like a nail. Regards, Ed Foote
